Tools for Productivity

This class presents the six physical tools that people who work at a desk need to use to be productive. You probably own most of them already, although you may not think of them as tools.

Productivity Overview

The Productivity Overview addresses the major components of personal productivity:

  • Defining productivity for one’s own life
  • Life mapping
  • Tools for productivity–the six physical tools that people who work at a desk need to use to be productive. You probably own most of them already, although you may not think of them as tools.
  • Filing:  alpha sort vs. indexed and how to decide which system to use
  • To-do lists
  • Decision support
  • Project management

The class is offered regularly at the Team Nimbus office in Raleigh, as well as at other locations around the Triangle.

Staying Changed

Staying Changed is a class based on the latest research about why some communities, and some individuals, are able to maintain new behavior when similar efforts in other communities fall under the wheels of the “change back” train. If you have a behavior or process that “needs to stick this time,” call to schedule the class for your business.

Goal Setting for Love

This is a class for single people who want to be much more clear about finding their right partner, developed jointly by Leslie Flowers, an expert on goal setting, and Karen Tiede, an expert on systems design and metrics. When I’ve taught this concept before, science majors loved it and Humanities majors thought I was too clinical and scientific. Schedule a session for you and your friends and decide for yourself!

Special topics

We also offer focused classes on E-mail management, Calendar Blocking, Life Mapping, Filing, and To-do list creation and management.  Please inquire.
